Our first 4 nights at the apartment were great. The place was clean, had air con and was near to the beach. On our second to last day we were abruptly woken up and asked to leave because they had double booked the apartment. We think that they had sold it for a higher price (they stand at the pier selling the rooms to people who arrive on the ferry)  so decided to shift us out despite paying in full in advance. The owners then began to clean around us, allowing us no privacy or time to gather our belongings and find another place to stay. Note: we are polite and respectful guests and have never experienced this treatment anywhere else.

Pros
Brand new and spotlessly clean
Great air conditioning
Reasonable walk into Hvar town (20 minutes if your fit and don't mind hills) yet quiet location with no noise from the town
Reasonably spacious for a studio and really good bathroom
The host was lovely and on site for any questions

Cons
Walls were quite thin so we could hear the people beside us even though they were not being unduly loud. It had an adjoining door between the rooms so that may have been the culprit.
It was called sea view but you really needed to pick your spot if you were going to view the sea from the balcony.

Quibbles
It was the only self catering we stayed at that didn't have any tea, coffee, salt, pepper etc stocked in the kitchen.
A sofa or other soft furnishing in the the room would have been really nice to make it more comfortable to relax

New Studio Apartment

On the day we arrived, the owner picked us up at the port and showed us the way of how to walk down to centre patiently. 
The apartment itself is very new, spacious and clean. You can see from the pictures I uploaded.  
It's around 10 mins to the beach and 5 mins to a supermarket.
On the day we left, we had to take an early ferry so we don't think it's good to ask for a drive. However, the hosts are so nice and helpful that they offered to drive us themselves! 
In the few days of staying here, I can feel the kindness and sincerity of the hosts!
Although its not very close to the centre, it's still a very nice choice and I strongly recommend to all of you!

Nice and clean apartments. Friendly and kind hosts.

We stayed in apartment no.5. Balcony was a nice size and got the evening sun. The apartment was brand new and decked out nicely. The people who run this place are lovely and arranged a pick up and drop off, very much appreciated. It's 15mins walk into Hvar itself and 8 minutes to the supermarket. It seems like a long walk into town as there are many apartments closer...but 15mins is quite doable and works off the pasta/pizza. There is a beach about 10mins walk behind the property down a stoney path, use good shoes for this. 
Negatives...no salt and pepper which would have been nice for the price and very thin bedroom curtains which made a lie in hard to do. It's a little on the pricey side but I guess that's Hvar in July for you. They only take cash which is a pain if you stay a few days, constantly queuing at the ATM! Wifi was patchy, but the islands suffer from this all over.
