Apartments and Rooms Jasna

Sipoges stayed at these apartments in their second destination on the Croatian adventure. We arrived in Hvar after a 3 hour boat journey from Dubrovnic. A taxi was necessary from the ferry port due to the uphill journey from the harbour to the apartment but this only cost 100kn. Upon arrival we were greeted by 2 of the owners with a warm welcome. We were shown to our room with a smile and given information about the area! We had a lovely little apartment with a bedroom, separate kitchenette and bathroom. Our favourite part of this accommodation was our little outdoor terrace with a table and chairs. Sipoges enjoyed their complimentary beer out on the terrace straightaway! Sip was particularly happy to find that the beer was his Croatian favourite - Karlovacko as he likes to refer to himself as the Karlovacko King (KK for short). The walk to the centre of Hvar was no trouble for Sipoges as is mainly downhill and only takes about 10 minutes. The return journey is more difficult with a strong incline and could be difficult for those that don't do much walking. However, Sipoges do SO much walking. Sipoges visited Mustaco beach after a good nights sleep which is a lovely beach which accommodates a great beach bar. Sip smashed the Karlovacko's and Oges attempted the strongbow challenge - if you haven't done this - the gold Apple flavour is so nice. Sipoges decided to eat on our stunning terrace on the second night after visited the local supermarket and filling our boots with the components of a gorgeous cold meat spread with a few pastry treats! Yum yum. Then we enjoyed a night on the town of Hvar! Check out was early and Sipoges probably could have done with an 11am checkout - Sip decided to sleep in and left Oges to do all the packing. We also weren't able to pay by card and Oges had to run down to the cash machine in town in the sweltering heat whilst Sip stuffed his face with the leftover stunning cold meats but that's another story. The owners were very understanding of our late checkout and we were given gifts of beautiful lavender to ensure our clothes were smelling stunning for the rest of our adventure. To top it all off we were given a lift down to the centre. Thank you so much for our stay!
