Apartments Villa Mungos

Stayed here July 2016 and had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and had a little kitchenette as well as a private balcony with an amazing view. The staff were all incredibly kind while we were there. They went out of their way to help us rent a car while on the island, drove us to the car rental place and picked us up after dropping it off. We didn't realize how small the island was and there were no taxi's when we first got off the ferry so we had to wait for a bit to strategize before one showed up. However when we left one of the staff at Mungos drove us to the ferry and waited to pick up new guests - so could contact them to inquire about a pick up from the ferry. We ate at the restaurant a few times and had delicious seafood. The second night they cooked us two pekas (give them 12 hour+ notice to cook) and they were amazing! There is a small slab of rocks on the water that you can swim from if you want to take a dip while there and it has an outdoor shower. They also were kind enough to store our bags for our last day before we took an afternoon ferry so we could go off and explore without our luggage. Overall they had every thing we were looking for and were extremely kind!
