We booked this apartment through Air bnb - my first experience - and the whole experience was excellent. The apartment is maintained to a very high standard, very clean with a stunning view of the old town and harbour from the balcony. The air conditioning is very effective. The is a local Pemo 50m away and the cable car is 150m in the other direction. It's 30m (down a lot of steps) to Banje beach - you cannot beat the location. Just beware of the number of steps you need to negotiate - I wouldn't recommend for the elderly but if steps aren't an issue for you, you cannot beat this location and you will be spoilt by the view. The host organised transport for us from the airport -35€ or 240kn and gave some excellent restaurant and attraction advice before she left us to settle in. We are able to leave our bags (in an alternative location) as we had an evening flight. Highly recommended.
