The owner gave us a warm welcome. He explained to us how everything works at the apartment. He was very helpful and kind. Internet connection is free. The apartment is nice, clean and fully furnished. Very short walk to the downtown and the beach. We felt at home. 

We stayed at this apartment at the end of July through to August 5th, 2013. We can't say enough wonderful things about the owners, Sanja & Sanjin, and their apartments!

When we arrived we were greeted with a fridge stocked to get us started. Sanja also made us a wonderful tray of food to welcome us.

The apartments are clean, well kept and in a wonderful location. Only minutes from the marina and the waterfront in Split. If you've never been to Split you are in for a treat! The area just a short walk from the apartment is loaded with fresh seafood restaurants, shops and bars / clubs. There are two grocery stores and a bakery just next door so you can always get what you need.

To top our whole trip off we wanted to go to the top of the Marjan to get the view over Split. Because it was so hot that day, Sanjin kindly drove us up to the top of the hill and gave us a quick tour around the local area along the way. 

In short, if you are visiting Split this is the place to stay!! In the future, we will plan our trips to Split around the availability of Apartments San!

We had a great 2 night stay in July 2013.  Sanyin the landlord, who lives upstairs from the apartment, provided great service from the time he picked us up at the bus station.  He says he does not always provide pickups, but we were glad he did, even though our bus was a little later than expected.  (10 euro cost for bus station pickup, ~35 euro cost for his transportation back to the airport on our departure day).

He was so friendly, and even a little like a father to us (we were two young women travelling together), giving us great recommendations on things to do (and even encouraging us to get out to the big "party" - Ultra Music Festival, which was in town while we were), and checking on us after we let a little lizard into the house by accident (it was quickly taken care of!) from the garden.  

We rented a two bedroom apartment with a terrace.  It was lovely!  The apartment itself is only a few years old, so everything is in really great condition.  The decor is full of items from around the world, which I believe are from Sanyi's travels as a ship captain.  The location is super-convenient, a 10 minute walk to the Riva and Old Town, but in a quiet residential area so it's not noisy outside.  There is a bakery and supermarket just downstairs from the apartments.  We didn't have time to sit out on the terrace but wanted to pick up a bottle of wine and just sit outside since it was really lovely.  One bedroom has a double bed while the second bedroom has a single bed.  I believe max capacity is 3 people but it was plenty of room for just the two of us.  Free wifi worked great!  The bathroom is relatively roomy, compared to the B&B we had stayed in Dubrovnik, so it was nice to be able to move around in a really clean setting.  They do provide small bars of soap and shower gel, as well as a hairdryer, which is nice and not always available in apartment rentals.  Good number of towels meant we could borrow some for our sailing trip and bring them back afterwards.  It was so kind of them to pre-stock the fridge with a few cold beers, a container of milk, and some chilled water.  In addition, there are some limited items in the pantry (muesli, coffee, tea) which we could take advantage of -- all of this at no extra cost to us.

If you have a car, they do have parking available for rent as well.

I would definitely stay here again!  Our rental price was fair, and we were glad not to stay in the heart of the crowds in old town.  I believe it ranges 100-130 euro per night depending on season.  We booked through booking.com.

Beautiful apartments, excellent location and fabulous owners!

Great stay, great service from Sanyin!

Better than expected

We rented apartment for a month from this crazy old people. Apartment is old , hot water in shower works 5 min, everything is dirty, stove is old . 
Plus this old owners  came to our apartment and told us that we can’t even have an inflatable small boat for our child. They complain for everything. 
They think their old apartment from gold 😃😅. Absolutely will not recommend that place . 
Plus they are not friendly, seems like they hate everyone. Very arrogant and nasty people . 
Very bad experience!
