Villa Lavanda

What an amazing place. Located a little way up from the harbour, away from the bustle. The closest swimming beach, the old town, and the departure point of the Katamaran to Rijeka are all less than 5min away by foot, though. Room 3 was clean, modern and spacious, with a big balcony, huge windows, and an amazing view. Large walk-in shower, lots of hooks and storage space and surfaces to put or hang stuff, and I was particularly impressed with the choice of pillows, one of which was ergonomic and worked fantastically for me. All in all it was one of the best rooms we ever stayed in, and that's saying something. Breakfast was good, everything you need, and there's a restaurant with fantastic grilled food and peka lamb. It also has a good selection of wine (all of them available by the glass!) and great service. Not much German spoken, but to us, that was a definite upside and a refreshing change from the general vibe of expectations.
