There's ups and downs to this arrangement. The ups are that its clean and we got parking; there's a little frig with complimentary drinks; it's fairly central. The downs are that it's no ensuite so one has to walk out in a semi-public hall to get to the bathroom which is keyed differently than the room; there's no curtains on the windows on this main floor unit, just some strips of string; there's all kinds of children noise outside the Windows at night typical of an apartment building; the key tag to keep the lights on is also the keys to lock ourselves into the bedroom at night; and finally, we were met by someone who took our passports and didn't return them. I assume they're being held as ransom for payment tomorrow but what if we needed them for a financial transaction today? I'm just not happy with not having my passport.
