We stayed here two weeks. Room spotless lovely apartment two balconies front cool in afternoon sun in morning and rest balcony the opposite so fabulous. Beautiful seaview to rear. Stairs 5 flights but soon get used to them and well lit at night by lights. There is a steep walk down /back up from harbour but only 5-10 mins. Bus or taxi up if you don't feel energetic ...so nice to leave town and come back at night to utter peace and star lit night sky..heaven. Lisa .Vinko whole family welcoming and helpful lovely people nothing too much trouble or No Problemm...we will be going back Thanks to them for their hospitality and great holiday.

Home from home x

We were driving through Croatia and needed a place to stop overnight south of Dubrovnik. We stopped at a restaurant and used their wifi, booked these apartments and turned up an hour later. Liza greeted us with a smile and a cold beer! The apartment was large, clean and had lovely views. We wandered into town that evening, what a lovely resort. Reminded us of home in Parga, very similar. The walk back up as others have said is a climb but then where we live is the same so we are used to it. A shame we had to ,eave the next day as we would have liked to stay another night. We were even offered coffee by Liza before we left but alas we had a long drive ahead. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend these apartments.

Lovely stay

From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding! They collected us from the airport, took us on a quick tour of Cavtat so we could see where everything was and then took us to our apartment which was amazingly clean.

It is the perfect size for a couple and had lovely finishing touches like guide books and leaflets, a small selection of cleaning products, tea and sugar along with a TV and WiFi (however a little patchy sometimes). Towels were refreshed every couple of days.

The apartment is at the top of a large hill and can be quite a struggle when walking back from the beautiful centre of Cavtat but there is a supermarket near the top and not far from the apartment to purchase a summit reaching beverage.

The service from the family was outstanding from start to finish and they even gave us a lift back to the airport at the end of our holiday which was very much appreciated.

I would absolutely recommend this apartment to everyone and anyone. Very satisfied guest.

Excellent

really can't complain about our stay at Apartments Lisa. It's run by a family who were lovely - Lisa text us offering to pick us up from the airport when we arrived which was great, and her son Antonio drove us back to the apartment giving us a quick tour of the local area and advice on what too see and where to eat on the way.

The apartment itself was nice throughout and very clean with a view over the mountains on the balcony to the rear, and over the sea to the front - and we could sit out and enjoy the view at either.

There was air conditioning which was included in the price , a telly, free wi fi ( although the signal was quite weak - minor issue ) and a toastie maker !

You're only about a 5-10 minute walk from Cavtat harbour although it is up a fairly steep hill which burnt off some of the calories of all the overeating we did on the holiday.

At the end of the week Antonio happily took us back to the airport free of charge.

Exactly what we were hoping for.

I have been meaning to write this review since we stayed at Apartments Liza Cavtat in July last year (2014)!
My partner and I stayed in one of Liza’s apartments for a couple of nights at the end of our holiday in Croatia last year. We initially chose the apartment due to its great location; close to the airport and Cavtat town and for value for money. The apartment was spacious, clean and although a little dated had everything we needed. Liza and her husband (sorry I can’t remember his name now) were very friendly and keen to help us out with anything we needed. On our first evening there Liza spotted that my partner and I were walking down into the town for something to eat and as there was a thunder storm Liza kindly offered to run us down in her car to save us getting soaked. Liza’s husband, who runs a shop close to the harbour, also offered to buy my partner and me a coffee/beer when we got chatting to him one of the days, which was very kind of him. As the family have lived in the area for such a long time they were able to point us in the direction of the best places to eat/drink in Cavtat. Finally, when we enquired to Liza about taxi numbers so that we could book at taxi to the airport she offered to run us there herself without asking for any payment (obviously we insisted she take some payment for her kindness).
The only warning is...there is a relatively steep hill down to the harbour and restaurants etc.
Cavtat itself is beautiful, with numerous bars, restaurants and a very good bakery.
