Great, supportive staff and owners.  Spent over a month at Gaia’s while house hunting.  Staff was accommodating, food was wonderful, room was comfortable.  As a small, boutique hotel, space is limited so reserve early.  Beautiful garden and calm neighborhood.  Highly recommend this hotel, we use it for all of our business visitors.  Shoutout to the owners, very welcoming and friendly as well!

Wonderful home away from home

If you're looking for an alternative to classic hotels, you'll find a great place to stay. Very attentive staff, a family atmosphere, a beautiful tropical garden with a pool, a varied and loving breakfast, efficient WIFI and plenty of peace make staying a pleasure and make work in the home office possible.

Oasis in the economic capital Abidjan

I think I expected more from the B&B. Dont get me wrong, it is ok, but quite basic. For example, on my first day, the lady serving breakfast just told me that there was only bread and egg and coffee. I had to probe more for her to tell me that I could get more e.g. cheese or something else. The shower is good and hot and good power, though the bathroom is quite small. The bed is ok. The rooms are basic in my option.
Another challenging thing is the location. There isnt a signboard outside the B&B, and not many taxi drivers know the location. This was problematic on a number of occasions. 
Its just ok, but I would prefer mainstream hotels for Abidjan.

Just ok

If you like to get out of the impersonal atmosphere of the great hotels in Abidjan then this is the place to come... very well-organized and secure guest house, air-conditioned rooms, very nice garden and a beautiful terrace for a drink...quality kitchen....3 small bemools, it's not easy to find, out of the center (so counting 45 minutes in the morning drive) and limited number of TV channels.

Rest and quality services

My wife and I loved our time in Abidjan and it was entirely because of Gaia's Garden. The staff at Gaia's Garden were friendly and professional, and accommodated every need we had. The ACs were turned on before our arrival so it was perfectly cooled when we checked in. All the amenities worked and the rooms are designed in a way that allows you to have just the right amount of privacy as a couple. I'm still dreaming of the fresh fruits, croissants, and omelettes for breakfast. Luisa the owner was so delightful and rescued our weekend in Abidjan with the perfect recommendations of where we should go, what to eat, and advice on navigating Ivory Coast. On top of that, Luisa speaks Spanish, French, and English (and maybe some others!), which was such a relief to us as non-French speakers. She is the perfect host and we will definitely return to Gaia's Garden whenever we are back in Abidjan.

Amazing Stay

And yes! I arrived delighted. It only lasted a few hours: noise and noise in the night... bath towels for the whole week that haven't changed as well as sheets! Notice, it has an advantage they stand alone... Question: kitchen is the least worse; I recommend the doll portions!

Happiness never comes alone...

Need a moment of relaxation, calm and greenery, go to Gaia! Charming little hotel/b&b in a colonial-style house with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The staff is adorable, the dishes are very good (bravo Pierrette!) The only small negative point... extremely difficult to find! There is no sign/poster on the door and it's a shame because we lost 45min of paradise!

A little corner of paradise

I don't usually give reviews but this place and its staff were extraordinary. I was nervous because I was traveling on my own and in Africa for the first time but I felt comfortable and at home right away. The room was nicely decorated and I can still remember how well I slept in that bed. The staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, even with my limited French, and Luisa even took the time to help me set an itinerary to make the most of my time in Abidjan and surrounding areas. Breakfast here was just delightful, thank you Pierrette and Alphonsine for those delicious scones and banana pancakes. Thank you everyone for making my first time in Africa a most memorable one!

First time in Africa- Ivory Coast Staying at the best B&B in Abidjan

I visit Abidjan on a regular basis and this B and B is my home away from home and I am always disappointed if I cannot get a reservation.  Clean and comfortable with lovely garden to either relax or get some work done in a friendly atmosphere.  Always feel welcome here with the friendly staff and hosts.

A little Oasis in the Heart of Abidjan

As a regular visitor to Abidjan and Ivory Coast, I try if there is room's available to stay at Gaia Guest house.     I say " If there is room " as it has become very popular and one needs to book in advance if you wish to secure.   Rooms have a great layout and you are looked after very well.
