Unbelievable confortable. So close from San José. This calm and exclusive place let you enjoy the best of nature and have the best commodities. Weak point: it lacks a nice beach where to go... Nonetheless ir is very safe for having a great family time.

The best pool in Costa Rica!

My wife and I have lived here for 3 years and continue to be amazed by the beauty of Nativa. Nativa is located in Tarcoles  about 15-20 minutes north of Jaco.  It is a peaceful and quiet gated community with well-maintained grounds, abundant wildlife, hiking opportunities, several swimming pools and incredible views of the ocean.  The staff is professional and friendly. Carara National Park is only about 2 kilometers north of Nativa. The condo units are large, well furnished and equipped. Ideal location to enjoy the beauty of the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

Incredible place to live or visit

My husband and I spent a month renting a privately owned condo in this resort that is 20 minutes north of Jaco, and very close to Carara  National Forrest. The resort is beautifully maintained with lots of wildlife. We had howler monkeys in the trees, and macaws flying overhead at sunset. Many of the other couples there  were birders who spent every morning cataloging the wildlife. We had a private pool for our 8 condo unit, as well as use of an enormous "bigger than a football field" infinity pool that the whole resort used. The view of the Gulf of Nicoya, as well as the Tarcoles river was amazing. Be careful of what house or condo unit you rent, many were great but our unit hadn't been very well maintained.

Beautiful resort....best pools by far in Costa Rica

We stayed here in March on Spring Break.  It is a beautiful place!  The grounds are well kept and the condos are very clean and the beds are comfortable!  It was very secure because of the gate at the front with guards in it as well as guard stations posted through out the property.  I felt very safe.  The people are very friendly and will help you with anything.  The condo is not on the beach but you can see the ocean from the balconies.  You can watch the boats along the Tarcoles' on their crocodile tours.  Nativa is not far from Jaco.  It is a 5 to 10 minute drive.  We ate at all the local Sodas and some of the restaurants in Jaco.  Most of the people speak English.  The shops take American and Costa Rica money.  
This is a great place to stay and experience Costa Rica!
