This place is not even functioning! I booked through another agency, had a confirmation number, etc, But, when I arrived, the place was virtually abandoned. I had to walk around quite a while calling out for someone to explain things.   Basically it is CLOSED!  It was becoming dark, and I, as a single woman traveler, I had to find another place to stay.

Excellent location, close to everything in Puerto Jimenez, easy access, good care and privacy the rooms at the bottom are set within nature and with the best fishing tours in the area, guaranteed.

We stopped at this hotel on our jeep trip to Costa Rica. Beautiful small, warm, clean property. Good welcome. This hotel for the price is worth it. It was a short stop before we went to Golfito. Thank you.

Visit to Costa Rica

Very nice place its gardens (internal vegetation) are lovely, very good care, close to everything (beach, mountain), a very good swimming pool to enjoy the end of the day, very clean rooms and with everything necessary.

A 3-minute drive from the center of the port of Jimenez, made up of distinct well-maintained and clean bungalows, surrounded by lush vegetation, ideal for relaxing from the long days of trekking and beaches that corcovado offers, large and comfortable beds.

Good media range option

Our little bungalow was just right. Air conditioned. Small refrigerator. Shade. Quiet. WiFi. The town is a mile bike ride (the bikes worked but are not in great condition) or better yet a car ride if you have one. Finding a taxi is challenging  so recommend prearranging with Helen at the front desk. She also helped us arrange some fishing and a rainforest tour. If in PJ again, we would come back. Would be nice to come when the restaurant is open. It was not open while we were there but the whole area seemed slow so I’m not surprised. 

Simple, quiet and affordable 

Our little lodge was the perfect place to relax, we lay in the hammock watching monkeys, drinking beer and pina coladas!  The caimans were very cool, and we saw lots of vultures sitting in a line around the lagoon too!  The room was lovely and peaceful, the staff were friendly and helpful and the walk into town was mostly by path and very safe.  We very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.  Shame breakfast is not offered in the low season but we had an evening meal which was nice.

Amazing wildlife and relaxing lodges.

A very spacious but somewhat spartiate room. A bit strange cabinet. A very friendly and warm welcome. A breakfast option to request for early departure. We haven't tested the pool.

As a place to stay

There are individual villas complete with porch and hammock and a block of four all on ground level (I stayed in one of these) with covered patio area, rocking chair and bench. The rooms seem to be fairly newly built and are large, clean, quiet and comfortable. Well decorated, a/c, fridge and massive bathroom and walk in shower. The grounds are well maintained with plenty of wildlife including baby caimans. Don't leave anything around outside the rooms though or the monkeys will be gone with it. There's a lovely pool with plenty of space for sunbathing if you fancy doing nothing. Breakfast was good although they didn't do other meals at the time of my stay but they have plenty of menus for restaurants that will deliver their food to the hotel. Jimenez town and its plentiful selection of restaurants is about a mile easy walk away. Staff are lovely and speak excellent English and have a wide range of excursions and activities to advise you on. Very relaxing, great hotel and highly recommended if you are going to Jimenez.

Loved it

After a terrible night at another facility we stayed four nights here.  Staff and facilities were superb.  Spider monkeys and Mot-Mots for entertainment while sitting on your front porch.  We enjoyed our stay.  Easy walk ( 1 kilometer ) to Jimenez for restaurants etc.
