We had planned to stay only 1 night, but ended up staying 6 nights because of a mechanical problem with our car. Our rooms were both comfortable and clean. The hotel is well located for restaurants and the ferry. It was nice to have an included breakfast each morning.

What impressed us the most about this hotel was the service. Eduardo and the entire staff were very friendly, sympathetic to our car problem and very helpful with translation & other phone calls as required. We cannot say enough good things about this team.

Hotel is in a quiet area a 5 minute walk from the beach, restaurants and the ferry terminal but if you arrive by bus it is a long hot mile walk.  Decent rooms, welcoming and informative staff.  The breakfast terrace is a nice place to have a beer/chill/read a book.  I liked that you were welcome to bring in take away food if you wished.  Pool is small and constantly occupied.  Only downside is the breakfast- little choice and a huge vat of scrambled egg which was stirred regularly from 7am onwards until it was like rubber.

Very nice place to stay close to the ferry and to restaurants. Friendly  people. Perfect location for day trips around the peninsula. The two story building has a small swimming pool in front of the lower level rooms. Breakfast is served on a covered patio on the second level. Parking is tight but worked!

Ideal for visiting Carara

Great location in Puntarenas

Very good transit motel, clean nice, good location but not for a longer stay. The rooms have thin walls, indoor coridors so it is very noisy, with guests leaving for the 5 am ferry, meaning they get up at 3am, it can cause a short night sleep. 
But when going with the ferry its a good place to stay over night. Short walk from the boulevard, couple minutes, with loads of restaurants and bars.

More a Motel than a Hotel

We were given a small, dark, rather shabby room fronting immediately—a matter of feet— onto a pool which may have broken the record for chlorine. It may or may not have been clean, there was not enough light to tell. Scuff marks on the walls. We could not stay. The young woman at the desk was very nice.
