I came for 1 night and stayed for 2.5 months.... seriously.... If you want a local tico tica experience this is the place.. the hotel is perfect.. local activity perfect... freakin so fun... I have been coming to costa rica for 25 yrs and lived here for 3 yrs. this place is the shi*.... the locals are real... hang out on the beach wall across the street and be real and they will be real to you... remember where you are and not where you came from... immerse yourself and enjoy.. listen and laugh...the family welcomed me with open arms ans they and the town folk are friends for life.... i do not speak spanish but they were all more than accommodating... seriously one the real costa rica is here and ready for you to explore.. fish market is superb.. much love 420 ken
