Beautiful property! Very quiet and peaceful. We will be back.

We loved this property location. It is VERY safe and convenient for a relaxing vacation. We traveled with another couple, who booked a different room on the property and had included the beach club ($30/person) and daily maid service, for the same price. We did not realize that was an option when booking so would suggest reaching out about that.

Awesome location, visited for the Xterra Triathlon, hoping to return next year.

It is a perfect stay from the moment you get in throughout all the stay is simply perfection at its best!

The property was prestine with kind and helpful staff

The specific unit we stayed in was really nice and spacious with a great view of the ocean. So was the overall complex. However, the owner can pay more attention to details such as the condition of the appliances (dishwasher wasn’t operational) and basic amenities such as a roll of paper towel or a box of Kleenex that rental apartments typically have.

My stay at Las Catalinas Collection was the perfect end to my month of travels in Costa Rica. The property was pristine and the concierge services were superior. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone. Las Catalinas is a must visit if coming to Costa Rica. It was my fourth time visiting the town, and I had always wanted to stay, so this first for me was extra special and I can’t wait to return for a future visit.

This is a beautiful place for couples or a family. You can do a romantic dinner at Sentido Norte - kids not allowed. There are other options like Pot & Bowls, Ponciana, or Papagayo brewery. Beach club food isn't bad either, however, you will have to pay extra for access. I recommend, if you are staying for at least 5 days and have a car, to buy groceries at a supermarket so you can do your own cooking. The on-site gourmet market is very expensive. Lastly, the description/ad states "ocean view", and there isn't ocean view access from the villa. You aren't too far away though. The pictures below are from the beach club, and the restaurant Sentido Norte. Make sure you make reservations far in advance, or you will not find seats at the restaurant.Overall, we would visit and stay again.

Peaceful and safe location

The view from my room was beautiful! The room was perfect for a couple. I would give it a five stars rating if the bathroom didn’t smell like mold. I told the front desk; they said they would look into it; but nothing was done. In addition, the TV didn’t work on the third day that we were there. They could not fix it 😕The construction noise started from 07am to 10 pm.There was only one road to get in and out of town. It was very very bumpy! Food was expensive at Las Catalinas and Tamarindo.But people were very kind and super friendly.

Amazing property…. Gorgeous location that is truly a hidden gem. Just wish they included more family activity options (plenty of things to pay extra for)…. But a basketball hoop with no basketball for example isn’t very helpful. More beach activities included in the price would’ve been great, although paying the $15pp for the beach club ended up being worth it for our group.

Amazing property in Guanacaste, Costa Rica

Wow wow wow! What a beautiful place! We stayed for 2 days and nights in one of the very comfortable flats/condos. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. Never needed to leave the property for anything. Plenty of restaurant and activity options. The grocery, the beach, and opportunities to stroll the beautiful, walkable streets of town. And don't miss the sunsets at the fabulous Stentido Norte restaurant, voted one of the most romantic restaurants in the world.

Liked: Welcome and arrival, free valet parking, wifi, salt water pool, restaurant options, location, beach, beautiful architecture, sunset.Disliked: Beach club closes too early 6pm, store closes too early, check out was too early 10am and not communicated or on info sheet, no town map, shower head in room was not working, room was in main traffic path and didn't feel private, Casa Chameleon restaurant made a big deal about dress code then didn't enforce it as nobody else followed it.

Last minute choice, an hour from from Liberia airport. Wow, what a property - felt like we were in Europe, beautiful architecturally designed community. Beach was perfect, small, sandy, clean warm water. Pools were nice. We rented a condo with it’s own plunge pool on the balcony and a a partial ocean view. It was superb. Husband wants to buy a place here in las catalinas.

Might buy a place here!

Beautiful rooftop with barbecue and ocean view. The rooms were very comfortable, great beds and premium linens. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The only downside for us with a baby were the stairs. The concierge was very helpful!! Excellent service. The quesadillas at the beach club were delicious!
