This is a truly spectacular large conference hotel, if you get the right rooms. The Swim up rooms on the Ground floor with the channel you can swim in facing onto the beach ( room 164) watching wild birds, especially Scarlet Macaws is spectacular.  The 18 hole golf course is very attractive and one of the best in CR. Full of wildlife hence its name “ Iguana”. Take the ecotour, which is free as is kayaking, paddle boarding and tennis.

One of our favorite vacations and we’ve been in A LOT of places.

We stayed for 4 nights and the room and view were breathtaking. Very clean which we are very particular about for a place this size you won’t find anything more clean!

As all the reviews state, the sunsets, wildlife and views are enough to spend hours and hours on the deck with no need to go anywhere.

The beach is fantastic, warm like bath water with great small waves for fun boogy boarding.

We Book with PIKO TRAVEL  the ATV tour,  Surf lesson, Tortuga island, the Monkey experience and loved it. Perfect mix of hiking, waterfall, beach and four wheeling.

The staff at the hotel was awesome, The only problem was the vendors at the beach and the loud music, other them that we love this place.

Visited Costa Rica on a tour through Collette Tours, spent three nights at Los Sernos Marriott.

It’s a beautiful resort, with good sized guest rooms offering balcony’s and or patios, some with Ocean views.
Of course there’s a beautiful Golf Course, lush and green - unfortunately we didn’t have the time to enjoy it so I apologize for not being able to provide any info.

The Hotel grounds are good for strolling and looking at the wildlife that lives on the property, walking along the shoreline
Since we visited durning the off season not all the restaurants were open, but what was available was decent.
Nice bar with indoor and outdoor seating , enjoyed kicking back talking to friends, and watching sports.
The bartenders were super nice.

The Breakfast Buffett was excellent, lots good choices for any diet - always fresh fruit along with a cook who can cook your eggs any style.

There are plenty of pool’s throughout the property, good for kids - we enjoyed the swim up bar pool - of course.

There’s a small port that you walk to, maybe 10 minutes through a beautiful tree covered walkway - there’s restaurants at the port also some beautiful yachts. 

The only issue that we had was getting a wake up call.
We arrived at mid evening and needed to get up early, I called the operator line & it just rang & rang - finally I had to go to the front desk where I found 3 gentleman just chatting away, I asked if the hotel offered wake up calls and they said yes - and told them I had been calling for 20 minutes, they took my info and set up the call, I felt for a quality hotel that was not up to Marriott standards.
But it all worked out.

Overall it was a nice stay, great views and friendly staff overall even if we didn’t Golf.

This was our first time to Costa Rica and we picked the perfect place to stay. The hotel thinks of everything you could possibly need. The room was perfect for my family, we had a continental breakfast every morning with the option of a buffet breakfast-  there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. Most importantly the staff was so hospitable and went out of the way. We were able to tour the grounds with Juan and his Iguana Tour, take in the spa, sit by the pool, and listen to live music one night. The marina was a nice walk if we wanted to change up scenery and transportation and planning was alway available.  I highly recommend this location.

Let me say, we are titanium presidential Marriott vacation club members and have traveled to many Marriott’s throughout the years.  I have to say that the club in los suenos is probably the nicest I have been to in many years.  The service was great, the restaurants, and there are many to choose from were excellent.  The food was great.  The employees were super friendly, the grounds are impeccable.  The pool area is beautiful with a great swim up lounge for food and drinks. And to top this all we used PIKOTRAVEL to plan our excursions, and they were great.

I stayed at Condominio Verandas, Los Sueños Herradura and it was absolutely lovely, just stunning! Place was really clean and it had everything you need. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to go on vacation with family.

We stayed at Los Suenos and had an amazing time, such a nice place, all our tours were booked with Piko Travel and he was so nice and friendly to us, such a great experience!!! On our next trip to Costa Rica, we will definitely book our tour with piko again.

One of the best vacations (holidays) I have taken anywhere on the globe.  The hotel property and grounds were meticulously maintained and the service was impeccable. Such a friendly, helpful staff that made me feel like I was staying with family!

The property was close to town and the marina, both of which offered great activities for our whole family.

I would stay again in a heartbeat!  Awesome family vacation spot.

Absolutely Amazing Location

The room was great! We paid for an upgraded room with a hammock and two balconies, and it was WONDERFUL. The service is just okay - a little slow at the restaurants and took a long time to check in. The pool didn't have a hot tub! We were disappointed by that. But the swim-up bar was nice and inflatables were cool. Walkable to the beach and gorgeous views.

It took a long time to check in. They upgraded us for a nicer room. I think that meant that we got a porch. The room was nice. There was a hammock. Nice vibe. All the restaurants were not open so we had about 4 to choose from. The food was good and there were some local choices. The beach was dark sand and difficult to walk on. Most people swam in the pool, which had a really nice lazy river kind of thing going. I loved the donut inflatables.  I saw very few people venture out into the beach bay. The first day I arrived the bay waves looked like chocolate milk, but the staff said it was safe to swim in. We were told to order a cab from the transportation guy next to the front desk. He suggested 4 hours ahead of our flight time. We were skeptical, but he insisted. It cost $130.  The private van he ordered never arrived. After 25 minutes we asked him what was going on. He ended up ordering a cab from town. The four of us squished into the cab 15 minutes later. I asked the cab how much she charges for the ride usually (knowing the hotel would pay this time) and she said $110. I feel like they should have reimbursed us (you now they would have charged us if it had been more!) It made the last day of our vacation stressful because there were back ups on the road to the airport.

We had an adventurous 3 weeks travelling around Costa Rica and in the middle we opted for 3 days of luxury and relaxation at Los Suenos and we were not disappointed. It’s a delightful property. We are lucky enough to be Lifetime Platinum so got a room upgrade and free breakfast (there is no lounge. With that in mind here are the reasons why we enjoyed our stay:-
	Excellent friendly staff
	Very good facilities 
	Lovely relaxing pool area – we really enjoyed swimming from pool to pool under the bridges 
	Really appreciated the complementary activities  on offer especially the guided tour around the extensive grounds on a golf buggy spotting animals and the excellent yoga class
	Big quiet rooms with very comfortable beds and bedlinen (we even had a hammock in our room!). Effective quiet aircon and superb tv
	Really enjoyed breakfast in the Hacienda Restaurant. Excellent selection to suit everyone. We ate there one evening too. We had a table by the pool and ate ceviche and seared tuna. It was the best meal we had in Costa Rica and it was very reasonably priced
I would only have 2 minor criticisms 
	There was not enough staff on duty at reception at peak times
	I didn’t enjoy the DJ’s techno music pumping out around the pool. Sometimes they played more laid back music from a playlist which I felt would suit the type of guests at the hotel much better

Delightful luxury break during our road trip around Costa Rica

Beautiful location. Great landscaping and fabulous pool. Staff is attentive and always friendly. Food was good at all locations and the gift shop with coffee and pastries is open 24 hours. Would definitely vacation here again. Played golf at the La Iguana attached 18 hole course. Rental clubs are very nice Taylormade Sim graphite. Course was well manicured and in very good condition. Play early in the morning to avoid the mid day heat.
