It's the worst time of my life in this place since I went down the stairs, you know you're in a room above a fried chicken sale, the rooms are ugly, but the smell of chicken is worse than anything in the back rooms, and from my window I see a chicken employee manipulating the chicken while he was smoking, everything else is excellent receptionist attention, since I received with an excellent level of English, the cleanliness of everything orderly, the safe place with surveillance cameras but the worst smell of chicken in the whole establishment.

The rooms are worse than the average hostel - the toilet was cracked, beds were small and bad, towels cheap.  I'd feel okay if I paid maybe $40 because of the decent location.

Friendly staff, good location, but awful rooms

We will simply never return to these cabins and tell ourselves as many as we can. Excessive price for what they offer: charismatic rooms and not all of them are the same size (the smaller one costs you the same as the larger one), price changes taking advantage of the holidays, no one, absolutely no one in their right mind would pay $125 or 40 thousand for that pseudo-hosting. Water filters, on the floor, in the a/c and not solve the situation. Almohadas with experience, dirty room. Pets of other animals that we don't stop to host.... mention that the cabins enter a second floor, in search of a sales pit, because literally that smell would accompany you.

Customers don't expect you to be perfect, we expect you to fix situations when something goes wrong!!!

I had the idea of staying from Thursday to Monday and had difficulty staying one night, extremely uncomfortable beds, the super small bathroom, the TV control served only a few buttons, after all, the cost is too high for the service offered, I preferred to look for another hotel and get rid of the very bad attention and discomfort that comes with it.

From the worst to the worst!!!

Website photos are misleading and some are fiction. This is just very basic rooms above a shop. Photos show a roof terrace with views that is not at the rooms The rooms are a block away from the beach and face inland Rooms were not clean, furnishings were very basic and the toilet seat and basin tap in our room was broken. We had to ask the owner to come back to sort out the hot water as we had none in our room. Web description included a coffee maker and fridge, that's just one to share for all rooms and the shared fridge was iced up and filthy. photos show bedrooms have a window but only one room has an external window. Most rooms windows faced into communal hall / stairs so we couldn't open curtains. Communal coffee maker and fridge etc right outside the rooms means it's very noisy. A/C and wifi worked ok ground floor security door to access the property made us feel secure. No safe in room and the door and window was so insecure we took our valuables out with us. 

Overpriced and very basic 

I was just here Thursday-Monday, great location, walking distance to everything, staff was real nice with anything I needed. Not the biggest rooms but for the money and location it was good for me. I wouldn't take my girlfriend here, and if your looking for something more spacious then maybe spend the extra cash but for me and my buddies this was good for us.

Excellent Location

The hotel has nothing to highlight it, the only thing is the location, but it is that on top of that this old one, the dirty walls and sheets the air conditioning stopped working the last day and cockroaches appeared in the bathroom.

It's a small-room hotel, with a private bathroom, a bed and a small TV. The room has A/C which is advantageous for the Jaco climate and everything was clean. The location is of the best it has, it's super central. Generally I recommend it if you need a cheap option and to get out of the way, but it gives me the feeling of being in a boarding house!

Not the choice during the Christmas period. It was a drift hotel. Hard to find in the middle of shops, restaurants, etc.... a young man welcomes us without knowing what to do with us, despite a reservation. Telephone conversations to take us to a small room, without comfort, no mirror, no cloak door for our clothes, just a small closet bar in a corner of the room, a small corner bathroom that serves as a bedside table, no chair, little light, dirty, no curtains on the door and window forced us to hide curtains to protect our privacy, from that constant, warm light. The room was not for our 2 nights.

What a scandal!

Totally got in luck with this hotel from an online booking and everything was exactly as I expected.The room was the same as the picture ! inside the room was a huge fridge ,small TV and 2 very comfortable queen beds.so comfortable,I Slept like a baby!  Just outside was a lounge with a kettle ,small tables with a café feel for the morning,I took my tea bags,boiled the kettle and we sat for half an hour reading the local papers.My tico husband was very pleased they brought La Teja,a local newspaper,he could peruse every morning.Rooms.very clean. Wifi.spot on.no issues whatsoever.TV,local stations as expected,small screen but adequate
,location.Spot on...very central.you can walk to the beach and town within minutes,RIGHT next to a big superstore for food.Perfect! in spite of the noise on the Jaco strip ..very quiet and no noise in room,which considering the location is a godsend..There is one guy that runs the whole hotel.Pleasant enough,not overbearing or even talkative but he does everything,check in ,cleans the rooms,advises .He leaves at 8pm so you have to take your keys with you and let yourself in if you decide to party late! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend for anyone on a budget.For $50 a night ,yes I would recommend over and again
