Casa Tranquilla

All I can say is that I have never been so warmly welcomed by a host on any of my other trips outside the U.S.! Arwen and Paul were incredibly professional throughout the process of booking and during our stay, but my group also felt like we were taken care of as friends! Having never traveled to Costa Rica, there was a lot I didn't know to expect. We could have skipped getting a rental car because they are a bit of a headache & expensive. Renting the bikes available at Casa Tranquila allowed us to really enjoy the Pura Vida attitude! The apartment feels very safe and the outdoor kitchen allowed us to take care of ourselves and truly experience Costa Rica outside the walls of a big resort. The town and beaches are close enough to walk, but taxis and cycling were often easier. I highly recommend visiting Samara & staying at Casa Tranquila!
