Excellent, very good customer service, beaches, swimming pool, comfort, tranquility, very beautiful scenery, coconut beaches, a good place to spend time with family, the beaches very close to the cabins.

A walk through the park.

A place with an excellent location to relax and spend a pleasant holiday as a couple or as a family.Only one should consider that they do not have air conditioning in the rooms!It should be noted that the facilities have a swimming pool with green areas where wildlife such as birds and reptiles can be seen, is located just 100m from the beach with private and secure parking and as an additional spa service!

It's nice and cheap.

We stayed there for two nights, the place was very dirty, moist and full of insects, and for the most part the shower was a tube with a stream of cold water, along with a curtain whose cleanliness was questionable, very unpleasant, and we were charged 45 euros a night, and although they said taxes were included, they denied us a bill.

House of Horrors

Stayed here for one night with a friend. Location is great only 2 minute walk across the street to the beach, and only 100 meters away there's a small supermarket and Italian restaurant. About 800 meters or so from the busier tourist area. The rooms are nothing glamorous, but only $40 a night during the low season. There's a TV, fridge, table, and chairs in the main room. No A/C but there are ceiling fans in the bedrooms that do the job. The room also comes with silverware, plates, cups, pretty much every kitchen thing you could need except a microwave. The bathroom is fine nothing fancy. One complaint was that there were no towels provided, wish I would have known that ahead of time to bring my own. There's also a back laundry porch area that had an oven and wash sink. Both front and back doors have 2 locks, so very safe. The pool is wonderful! Wifi only works in the reception area or near pool, but does work well there. Also has free parking. Great for anyone traveling on a budget.

Good affordable option

I like the decadent charm of the old residence, the garden, the silences, the room (I slept in the 7) spacious, the proximity to the sea. Ideal place if you want to escape the worldliness and you want to rest your spirit and mind. Cabinas Chale is the most economical place in Playas del Coco, if you are not willing to sleep in a room with strangers.

I appreciated the decadent charm of the old residence.

I'm still here for a self, it's not luxury but the price I pay per month is very good...nothing luxury and the owner does his best to satisfy. No air conditioning but fans and no need for hot water the cold is already hot at 38 degrees we're happy with a little cool and the pool is well maintained!

Economic policy

It's a nice place to spend two nights at a cheap price in a wonderful place like a coconut beach with friends. The pool is nice and clean. Don't expect too much from the facility. It's nice to wake up and find an iguana watching you.

It saves money, but the structure is 60 years old.

It's a pretty unfortunate place. I tend to be on the adventurous side of traveling (had stayed in backpackers hostels until we reached this place) and I would never recommend this to anyone. Even if it was free. It was very dirty. The sheets were not clean. I ended up sleeping on top of the sheets and used my bag of dirty laundry as a pillow. The room in general was gross. No shower head in the bathroom. Any more descriptions will sound hyperbolic (though true) - but seriously do not stay here.

Don't stay here

We went in a group of 6 to these beautiful cabins, at the reception which as a recommendation could be converted into a hostel-style bedroom to take advantage of all that space, at last they welcomed us very well, I think it's called, they gave us the background cabins and everything is fine, clean beds and saunas, good ventilator, they don't have A/C but in my opinion it doesn't occupy it, they have a gas kitchen that works wonderfully, cable TV and showers with good pressure.

An excellent night in the cabins of Chale.

A great place to stroll with family, or as a couple, with children. Clean, quiet, safe, with the basic needs well covered. You can prepare your food and have a supermarket at 200 meters well stocked. (Megasuper) You don't even have to load food there. If you want to travel in the pulpit of Liberia you can leave from San José in a luxury two-storey bus and leave it a short distance from the hotel, after a pleasant trip with excellent views.The pool is clean and pleasant. There are good gardens and birds, iguanas and monkeys come around.The beach is a short distance away, 100 meters from the hotel.The beach is very nice, the owner is very friendly and easy to access.There are 6 cabins, equipped with a full passenger pool.Looks like a nice place to go to.Looks like a nice place to visit.
