My husband and I spent 1 week in Costa Rica and spent 3 nights at Rio Celeste Hideaway. I have traveled all over the world, and this hotel was, without a doubt, the most luxurious and had the best service. The grounds are incredible and immaculate. The hotel even has its own resident sloth, Emma! Breakfast is included: order off a menu and/or choose from a variety of fruits, breads. An omelette chef is at the buffet station. We had an excellent waiter, Mariano. We went on a 6 hour Rio Celeste rain forest hike with a fantastic tour guide, Felix, who was informative, pleasant and funny. We learned so much about a variety of plants, birds, and the natural wonders of the area. We didn’t get any rain but it rained overnight so it was a bit muddy. Rain ponchos are available at the hotel front desk for $7.
