The view is absolutely amazing and we loved the little secluded bungalow.  The owners are so friendly and informative.  The breakfast is amazing, it’s a 4 course meal and different each day.  You start with a parfait, then a specialty pancake, the main course is eggs and a specialty side (empanadas, etc.) and then juice, definitely fills you up for an adventurous hike.  I would definitely recommend this place.  Almost forgot you have a special wake up call from the howler monkeys around 5:15 a.m.

The property was absolutely beautiful and peacefully quiet. The resort overlooked a stunning lake, making for a breathtaking view. While it may not be the most kid-friendly spot, the owner’s friendly cats kept my little ones entertained! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable! 🐒

Little slice of paradise. Views are immaculate and the vibes are relaxed. Far enough from the touristy areas to feel authentic but close enough to the sights to reasonably do it all. Breakfast service was divine and a nice way to start the day off. Lack of AC not an issue at all, even when the temperature looks high because the breeze and shade make for ideal temperatures. We loved our stay and would recommend to any couple looking for a heightened experience in Arenal.

We spent 5 days here.  If we ever come back to the area, I would definitely stay here again.  It is very quiet and beautiful here.  The view of the lake and surrounding is incredible.  Host is super friendly and informative.  Breakfast is delicious.  Service is great!  A 10 all around.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.  The panoramic view of Lake Arenal is amazing and can be enjoyed from the bed, the sitting area, or the deck.  Ana and her staff served the most delicious breakfast each morning.  The room was very comfortable and was nicely made up each day while we were out exploring.There are a few restaurants and small shops within walking distance, down a dirt road at the bottom of the hill.  We rented a car at the airport in San Jose, and I think it might be tricky to get around without one as this is a fairly remote spot (in a good way).  La Fortuna is about a 40 minute drive away; we explored the town, visited the Tabacon hot springs (there are many others depending on your tastes), and did excursions to the Mistico hanging bridges, La Fortuna Waterfall, and Arenal Volcano lava fields.  Highly recommend for anyone looking for a scenic, private, peaceful and welcoming spot (and some amazing food) away from the commotion of town.

As with all of the other reviews, the property is excellent and the host is wonderful. Highly recommended.

The morning breakfast was always amazing, the staff cleaned our room everyday and set everything in order, even organizing our things together so they didn’t go missing! The view is absolutely gorgeous

Immaculate views and chill nature vibes

Such a beautiful, peaceful place. The owners were amazing and made our stay so special. They make the most delicious breakfast and anything you want for dinner. The rooms are comfortable and clean with amazing views. It is a little out of the way, if you want to be close to activities it’s a bit of a drive.

My girlfriend and I were there to enjoy a peaceful couple of nights with a comfortable room.  The rooms were individual cabins so there were no noisy neighbors. It was very satisfying.  The owners were most gracious.  We are thinking of moving to Costa Rica.  If we did, we would love having them as friends.  Maybe even neighbors!

This hotel is fabulous and great value for money. The views from the rooms are outstanding, the decking is lovely to sit on and relax and the bed was really comfortable. The ladies who run it are lovely and breakfast was the best we have had so far in Costa Rica, and all cooked fresh. I highly recommend this hotel.

Milena and her husband are truly wonderful people who shared their little gem with anyone who stays over and you just don’t want to leave. This place is truly special I strongly recommend. I have travel all over the world and this place had the best hospitality and food for a reasonable price. We extend our stayed and can’t wait to be back again :)

We had a one night stay here and it was wonderful! I had my family of 6 and got 3 rooms. I would say this was one of the most unique places I've ever stayed. I think the prop manager was off the day we arrived and I'm pretty sure the owner greeted us and kindly showed us around and introduced us to the cats. The free breakfast was AMAZING and I really can't get over how kind everyone was. I am surprised there aren't more reviews, they deserve it. You can tell and feel how much thought and care went into every detail. 10/10 would stay again.

This property is insanely beautiful. We loved sitting on the patio and laughing all night. We woke up to the most amazing view that just made us so happy. What a way to start the morning!! The breakfast was freshly cooked and so good. The yogurt and fruit parfait was my favorite and the bacon and cheese empanada is what my other half can't stop talking about! Delicious and fresh. Great stay and would highly recommend this as a stop on your vacation!
