Beachfront 5 star resort above and beyond all our expectations

Upscale comfort right on the beach.  We loved the staff, the on site restaurant and the romantic styling.  There was always a staff member easily available for questions, the bed and room were luxurious.  Loved the coconuts ready to drink from the refrigerator.

Nothing to fault A+++

From the time we arrived to the time we were leaving we received the best service possibly in Rarotonga at Little Polynesian.  Everything about the resort was clean, tidy and welcoming and then when entering our room for the week ahead we were wowed!!! 

Even the food at the restaurant was on point and everything was delicious.

Thank you to the amazing team we hope to one day return :)

Little tip if you’re sitting on your bed (beach front bungalow) or the deck keep a look out as one of the days while staying here I saw a random massive whale do a full jump out of the water, what a moment that I truly unexpected and it was amazing to see. 

I guess you already know I would 100% recommend staying here and truly can’t fault the service or the hotel setting.

A+++ Service, Rooms, Grounds & View

Myself and my partner Sonja stayed three nights here just recently. We were blown away by it. The photos are amazing but when you are there for real it's even better. 
Lovely to be greeted by  the GM and some of the team on arrival. Felt very special. Our beachfront bungalow was just beautiful with fantastic views and it was immaculate. Lovely to have a welcome drink in the fridge too.
 The restaurant was awesome and the food and drinks wonderful. We ate there every night as wel loved it so much. Highly recommend this little piece of paradise with a lovely intimate feel to it. We cannot wait to go back. Thank you to all who made our stay truely fantastic!!! Regards Sonja and Gemma. 

Beautiful little polynesian!!! 

One of the best resorts we have ever stayed in

We stayed in one of the beach front houses, and it was true to the pictures on the website. Property was clean, staff were friendly and attentive and addressed us by our names which was a nice touch. It would be nice if they had a specials menu that changed every day, however the food that they had was nice, so I can't complain. The only small negative that I have is that we ordered room service on a day that was extremely windy, hence didn't venture out,  and were charged a $10 room service fee to take the food a few steps to our door. Whilst I know this is in their terms and conditions, we feel it is a bit steep when you are already paying top dollar to stay there. Apart from that, we had a great stay, and from what we saw it is one of the better resort on the island.

This is a lovely place to stay and explore Rarotonga.

It has a lovely restaurant with great food, I ate here a couple of times in the evening and was never disappointed. the restaurant team are really personable and engaging and you can buy things locally and store in your room. There's a supermarket within walking distance but not many restaurants, so you need bikes, mopeds or a car.

You can walk to Muri Night Market - 20/30 mins away. I walked to the lagoon which you can do by road or beach if the tide is out, it's a longer walk.

The weather wasn't great when I was there so if I went again I'd definitely hire a car.

The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. 


Boutique Hotel with Great Food

The property was lovely as were the grounds. Unfortunately it rained, was very windy and cold while we were there so we didn’t even go into the water. As for Rarotonga itself we wouldn’t return however if you don’t want to an outer island and want to stay on the main island, this property would be hard to beat although quite expensive. The restaurant food was 10 out of 10. In windy wet weather we had to have room service as their dining area isn’t intended for inclement weather.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Little Polynesian Resort. Our spotless, spacious, well appointed and tastefully furnished villa opened onto a terrace with comfortable beach chairs and was steps away from a sandy beach, raked daily, and the beautifully clear, warm lagoon.  The view over the lagoon and out to the reef was fabulous.  We dined at the restaurant every night of our stay as the food was so good and we were very impressed with the excellent personal and attentive service provided throughout the resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
