I've never been to a hotel so bad, so low-quality, and everything that happens outside the rooms is heard inside, so if you want to rest forget it, the water in the showers is freezing, the bed is uncomfortable.

DON'T waste your money in that pocket.

Everyone here was attentive and had amazing customer service. The breakfast was tasty and the Location is safe. The only one thing I would suggest is to tighten the faucets so they won’t move and also the shower head in the “Imperial Suite” that’s where we stayed. But other than that our experience at Villa Roma was awesome. I would definitely come back.

Villa Roma hotel was a great place to stay, especially while traveling with our dog.  The staff was very accommodating and the hotel is only about a 10 minute walk from the plaza. We stayed in a standard room, which seemed small at first, but turned out to be the perfect size given the balcony which added a lot of space. We noticed the suites, although bigger rooms do not have balconies. The room was comfortable, if not luxurious. The pool and jacuzzi were not operating due to the pandemic, but the pool water is probably too cold anyway.  The only improvement we would suggest is to provide more options for the breakfast and make it a little bigger.

Cozy, well-located boutique hotel

When we arrived, they sprayed down our bags (with a liquid that doesn't stain), checked our temperature, and went through a list of biosecurity protocols. We felt VERY SAFE there during a pandemic.

The room was the perfect mix of modern comfort with colonial town charm. There is a large bathtub, a perfectly solid bed, and great shelves and closet area to hang things. 

The breakfast was very good; eggs made to order, fresh warm bread, coffee. We paid a drop extra for a side order of cheese. 

The service is world class, from the initial phone call to the end, when we left a drop later than the normal check-out without additional charges. They received a package of fresh herbs that we had purchased, they maintained excellent communication, and they answered all questions we had about the surrounding areas.

We will definitely return and recommend this hotel to friends. It's 6 blocks from the main plaza. Close enough to walk to, but not too close that every time you leave it's a hassle. Ideal spot!

Extra-Safe in a Pandemic, Comfortable, Stylish

It is a very convinient hotel if you staying for few days. The locations helps avoid the narrow streets and it is easy to go out and come back into town. The breakfast is enough and they have few good choices.

Very nice boutique hotel, comfort, cleanliness, friendly staff, good breakfast, has a small swimming pool and also sauna and jacuzzi, the experience was very pleasant, definitely highly recommended.

 Grateful stay.

It has been a good experience to stay in this hotel, comfortable, clean. The staff is very friendly, patient with the children. The breakfast is rich and generous. It is far from the plaza so it offers tranquility, but you can access it on foot for a few minutes.

Ideal for children.

It's close to the terminal, ten minutes' walk away, also close to the main square and all the shops, the hotel is very nice and quiet, everything clean and the employees are very attentive, but it's a bit boring in some areas like breakfast, cable TV and the Internet is very slow, however I like to stay a few days and rest, what I don't like is that I was charged an extra 5 thousand pesos a night outside the paid package that according to it was for a tax but the receipt doesn't reflect any tax or breakdown of anything.

A hotel for Descansar

The hotel has important things to improve: 1.The rooms are very noisy.From the room you can hear everything that happens in the reception: guests entering and leaving, rolling suitcases, children playing, chairs moving in the restaurant...etc.This makes it impossible to sleep peacefully.2.Another thing that prevents sleep is that the rooms do not have blackouts or thick curtains so that early light enters.3.Contradictively the room is also dark and there is no light available to light the room further at night.4.The internet does not work properly, it is intermittent.For these reasons I return to the hotel.The service is very good and the hotel is very nice but I would not return.

There is no going back.

I live in Bogota and I had family visiting from Canada. We took a short trip to Villa de Leyva and stayed at this hotel on a recommendation from a friend. The hotel was situated within walking distance to the town square but not so close that you had lots of noise. It has a small pool and a quaint courtyard. There is parking for your vehicle.
The rooms were spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was made to order and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful.
