My wife and I stayed in this hotel for almost two months from 14 September 2013 until 10 November 2013 and we look forward to returning. The hotel became our home away from home. We got to know the entire staff including those on the desk, in the dining room, the kitchen and the room cleaning. Every one was always polite, professional and helpful. We also had the pleasure of getting to know the owners and their family. All very nice people. Breakfast was included with our room so we ate in the hotel dining room at least one or more times almost every day. Service was always cheerful and prompt and they accommodated our requests for meals not on the menu. Our room was thoroughly cleaned every day, including weekends and we had extra towels provided any time we asked. We like this hotel and the people who work there and will stay there again the next time we are in Tunja. We highly recommend this hotel to others.

All Colombian citizens, regardless of the length of their stay, and all foreigners who stay in the country for at least 60 consecutive days, are required to pay a national sales tax (19%) on their accommodation during their stay. Foreign citizens with a tourist visa are exempt from paying this tax. If the person subject to tax and another person exempt from tax share the same room, the rate may be applied to the entire room.
