I have stayed in la casa costeña a bit more than one week. I have travelled through south america nearly 10 months and haven't seen a single hostel as calm and clean as this hostel even though is perfectly located in the historical Center of Santa Marta. This hostel is just perfect for Relaxing and/or having a little party in a carribean atmosphere. The Owner, Ivan, is directly from Santa Marta and helps you by finding the best spots at colombian's carribean cost. The atmosphere in the hostel is very familiar. It is pretty normal that friends and family of Ivan hanging out at the hostel always open for a chat and an ice cold bear (and from time to time for a Party in the bars and Clubs of Santa Marta). Thanks Ivan and friends! Won't Forget my time at your hostel!
