The stay was amazing. The pictures are very accurate and had a great view. The customer service was the best Johan was very accommodating and helpful. They also offer tours, we did two of them. The one to minca and coffee farm tour and one the the closest drive beach! Both tours were great. I would definitely stay here again. The accommodations had everything I needed and its a short walk to the town. 

I was in Cabañas Annapurna with my husband and it made our stay in Santa Marta memorable. The place was beautiful and very clean. The view is magnificent. Everyone was very nice with us. We highly recommend the place if you want to have a peaceful and wonderful time.

Excellent Stay

Best place ever

I came to Santa Marta a few months ago and i fell in love with Taganga. I quickly decided that i needed to spend a few months here. With plenty of time i began my investigation as to where i would call my home during this time. I planned on traveling with my dog as well so the last thing I wanted was to be in an uncomfortable spot or anything that wasnt perfect for both of us.  After looking into several places, spending time speaking with the representatives and even having a local friend go see a few spots for me I decided on Cabanas Ana purna. I paid my deposit 3 months in advance. Big mistake. 
I was very excited when I finally arrived. And immediately i noticed something was wrong. The lady I had been speaking with ANNA MARIA seemed puzzled. She asked me why i hadnt mentioned my dog. When i responded with a quote directly from her in reference to my dog. She suddenly remembered. This made me suspicious and later on i heard a neighbor (her mother) mention that we were staying for 1 month. I made a reservation for THREE months not one. This was suspicious but i left it at that. I was caught up in the view and the moment. I was happy. 2 weeks later with a week left in my stay. I get a message form ANNA MARIA telling me that i needed to find a new place because she had to do some repairs on the house the second month. That I could return for the third month if i paid for it right away. 

I immediately felt scammed and taken advantage of, we had an agreement. If you had a repair to make you could have gave notice. Or she could have paid for me to stay in a hotel. Or something nothing. Her solution was , i needed to leave.   i needed a place for a month with a weeks notice. Nearly impossible to find anything, let alone anything decent with a dog. 

She then scheduled the repairs for the day before i was supposed to move out. Telling me the workers were coming and i had to leave.. being rushed i moved to the new spot.. and MISTAKENLY took the remote to her TV. This lady called my phone back to back all day. She called my girlfriend. Sending messages Harassing me to take back her controller. I just moved I’m on a trip, she is not my priority, i will return her controller the next time i am in her area. She keeps Telling me that i broke 2 plates and a cup and i had to pay her money. 
I know i broke a plate... but never have i been charged for a broken cup. Let alone harassed. the huge inconvenience this lady caused me and now she is harassing me for 15k. And now the poor service lady that works there messaged me that she is going to take the money out of her pay. She says “please this is the money to feed my kids” THIS IS THE TYPE OF PERSON YOUR MONEY IS GOING TO. TO NOT SUPPORT THIS WOMAN.

The light went out several times, 
The internet is spotty, 
The view is great, 
Neighbors are great, 
Cleaning lady is great.

A SCAM, ABUSE OF EMPLOYEES, AND HUGE DISREGARD OF YOUR TIME AND EXPERIENCE

We had to pay 50% up front without seeing the property via bank transfer to secure the booking. The owner required an exact arrival time and then demanded full payment on arrival without previously informing us. When this wasn't immidiately possible she became rude, abbusive and registered us as a no show on Booking despite us staying 3 nights and having paid in full. then she cancelled the last day of our stay, Watch out!..
