I stayed 3 nights here with a group. For the price and central location in El Poblado, this was a great hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the included breakfast pretty much the same as other Colombian hotels. My room was comfortable (no A/C needed), quiet (except for one episode of two inebriated guests screaming from the hot tub above on the fifth floor), sufficiently dark with the blackout shades, and comfortable-the bed was nice with lots of pillows. The wi fi was good, not great, and I was able with difficulty to stream a basketball game (Go Cavs). The only issue was lack of hot water in the evening. The hotel was within easy walking distance of the party spots in El Poblado and about 8 blocks from the metro stop of the same name. If I ever were to stay in El Poblado again, a very doubtful proposition, I’d certainly consider Florencia Plaza.
