67 reviewsBlackpine is an excellent hostel, well placed to explore Medellin. I stayed in the two different private rooms they had, both were exemplary and more than I expected. The staff are so friendly and lovely, they even gave me a birthday cake (I arrived two days after my birthday). We felt so at home and really were upset to leave. The kitchen is fantastic - we cooked all our meals. While the hostel doesn’t do laundry, there’s a hostel around the corner they will point you to which is fairly priced. Overall Blackpine is not to be missed, if we were ever to come back to Medellin it would be to blackpine.
