Please don't waste your money on this place. We spent one night and that was more than enough for us. The bed was like a rock, I slept horrible that night. There was no hot water in the shower because it was broken and when we complain they said  "we forgot to mentioned it". 
The room was dirty and the sink had hair and tooth paste from the people who stayed there before us. The pool was dirty and disgusting to get in and on top of it they don't have their own restaurant so you need to go to another hotel to get your meals. 
There's garbage and construcción dirt all around the place. 
Not worth it to stay here, there are beautiful and much more modern places to stay at in The same area.

Terrible

My husband and I stayed at the hacienda for 3 nights last December with our daughter and her three children.
The site itself and the gardens surrounding the rooms are beautiful.  The rooms were on the whole very clean and stylish, but have seen better days, as one of your other reviewers has commented. The staff are generally helpful (a special mention for Harley!) The food is OK-ish. But what rather spoilt the whole thing for us - the day we arrived,the whole pool and restaurant area was taken over by a large wedding party, with lots of loud music. We felt like outsiders. The next day was quieter, in fact almost dead, as there seemed to be very few actual guests.  We enjoyed doing not a lot by the pool,only to be told at the last minute that the restaurant would be shutting at 7pm. The next day, Sunday, car-loads and coach loads of people arrived for a 100th birthday celebration, so we opted to go and visit the Air Museum and the new shopping mall in Palmira! We'd also been told that the restaurant would be shutting at 7pm, only to find people eating there much later. On our final day, I planned with military precision to rise early, pack, have breakfast and then spend an hour ot two in the pool, but it was being cleaned up until it came time for us to leave. The other downsides were a very uncertain supply of hot water in the showers and very slow service at breakfast, not to mention the bathroom door in our daughter's suite that had to be physically lifted up so you could get in! For the price we paid,compared with hotels elsewhere, I think it was reasonable in our terms, i.e. it worked out about £30 per person per night, but it could have been just that little bit better and more relaxing with more attention to detail, especially not making it so obvious that day visitors took precedence over staying guests.

Not the paradise we'd hoped for but still a nice place to stay

There are a club and a hotel, we stayed in the club, in small houses. The place itself is good designed, you have a little bit of an camping atmosphere, there is a pool, big restaurant, sunchairs and lots of green. The houses are nice designed, but could use some reparation, especially for the price you have to pay there. Doors are not closing well, the bathroom needs some improvement. The owners are very nice though, helping with every information. They have table tennis and some games, but this all is in a more bad condition, like the water slide into the pool. Service is like in a 5-star place, but overall the price is not excused for what you get. There can be music untill late in the night across the pool, and since the houses are only like 50 m away, it's very loud. As well you can hear your neighbours all the time. Behind the guest area there are little buses standing around and it's like a place where they put things they don't need. Doesn't look very attractive. One of the good things they have an own chiva which brings you to different points of interest.

Expected more for the price

The Eden has  huge rooom .beautifull gardens excellent crevices .places to visit around the town . We like the best they have a very good restaurant that served the best food in town . They also  have beautifull swimming pools .horses and many fruits trees all over the place . Very close to the airport .good way of transportation..and the staff. Is very friendly and always willing to help you ..
