I haved stayed at this airport hotel twice in the last 10 days and twice last year. Its free airport pick-up is reliable and the drivers are friendly.
The hotel is 7-10min away from the airport and its a vicinity are a couple of small shops and eateries.
However, the staff at the hotel is not friendly or helpful and hardly speaks any other language but Spanish.
The rooms are not completely finished and there is no decoration whatsoever just the bed and the bathroom. So very basicwhich is fine for the price but cables are sticking out of walls and hot water needs 5min to come through. No window, no heating, no aircon, no hairdryer. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the neighbouring rooms and the reception area. Especially the staff is quite loud at night and also listens to music/tv. Bring earplugs for some sound sleep.
Transport back to the airport costs COP 15,000 which is almost double of an Uber transport.
This was the last time I have stayed here as I was cold at night and found the noise unbearable and disrespectful (by the staff).

Pratical but neither comfortable nor hospitable 

I have stayed at the Bogota Open several times over the past few years and each time they have given me excellent service. From picking me up 24/7 at the airport and bus station to clean comfy rooms. I could stay at a more prestige hotel but why? They are wonderful

5 Star Service

Stayed here for a short stop over in Bogota. Close to airport (10 mins) and the hotel offers free collection from airport ($15.000 COP to take back). The hotel is clean, staff were friendly. Our room had a decent tv. The hotel is basic but you get what you pay for.

Cheap hotel close to airport

This hotel is about 5kms from Santiago airport and is convenient as a transit stop. It is only small, about three stories and takes up the space of a normal house block. Basic breakfast is included but there are no restaurant facilities. Rooms are more than adequate and have a kitchenette provided, although at the time we stayed there were no kitchen utensils or crockery provided. It is fairly new as they have recently located.
Staff are friendly and speak adequate English. Restaurants are a short walk away.

Two of us spent our last two nights here, before returning to NZ.  When you arrive at reception, and you are asked to pay your bill before you have stayed or even seen your room, you know that you could be in trouble.  This trick is only pulled by places who think you may run off once you see the room.

Well, it was a good size, but a dumping ground for beds – one huge super king, two singles, one of which disappeared elsewhere on the second day.  The bathroom was clean and new.  The small towel had a few holes.  On the 2nd floor with the street security camera looking straight into our window.  There are no facilities for coffee, or anything at all.  Lord knows what those of you with included breakfast get and where from. 
The general area is OK to walk around, and there are taxis, who have a problem bringing you back.  You need a good map before you set off, and need to get your bearings as soon as you can.  People in the area are lovely, like the rest of Colombia.

On the 1st day, into the evening we had loud music on the second floor, open doors and followed by hours of lusty singing, and later into the early hours, robust and verbal sex.  The second night, most of the night, we had a very loud crying young child.  And the overhead planes were always with us. 

The free ride to the airport was great – well, we had two, because the man needed to return and pick up something left behind, was very welcome.

Close to the Airport

A place of average quality but very comfortable. The people are very friendly and the rooms are very nice and clean. Very close to the airport and includes transfer to the airport and other points of Bogota.! Thank you!
