This place is fantastic! It's located in Taxia village, which is stunning and also conveniently located for visiting the various tulou in both Yongding and Nanjing counties. The room was simple but clean and had lovely views. I had a room on the fourth floor with a shared toilet which was on the ground floor. This wasn't a problem for me but something to keep in mind if you're not keen on climbing stairs. The staff were extraordinarily helpful in guiding me and sorting out transportation to and from the tulou and to nanjing railway station; and though they spoke no English, they were patient with me and my poor chinese. They are also happy to cook tasty and affordable food. The atmosphere at this place was great, there were chickens and cats milling about which made it feel even more like an authentic living tulou community. I highly recommend staying here.
