If you're looking for a place near to bars, shopping, Dong Chen is a good place. Though it has been around for 20 years at least, they have maintained their rooms quite well. Shower is hot, toilet is clean. Just the rooms might be slightly dusty. Note that the room layout is different as some rooms have a tea room near the window, while some don't have. There's a Carrefour within 50m of walking distance. Together with clothing shops, local food, and you can certainly hold a public transport in front of the hotel. The front of the hotel is facing some road renovations so your taxi driver might stop for you to get down at the inner road meant for pedestrians and cyclists.
