The Bestway Daxing is excellent value for money. We paid around 140 CNY for a room with a Queen-sized bed during our 2 nights and 3 days in Xi'an. It was clean, comfortable and located right next to a shopping mall with restaurants and retail stores. Only one person at the front desk spoke English, but everyone was helpful. Be sure to print out your reservation with the dates to make things smoother. The location is a fair distance away from the city's historical sites, but the thing is, they're easily reachable with a 12-15 CNY cab ride, so it wasn't a huge issue. The room we had didn't have a refrigerator, so that's another minor subjective inconvenience (we like to stock up on our own drinks whenever we stay at hotels). The room we got allowed smoking but the room didn't stink at all. Wi-Fi was mostly reliable. All in all, a good hotel, especially considering the price. Would stay here again.
