Decent tourist hotel with tea/coffee in the rooms. 

Good location a 10 minute walk to Drum tower or South Gate.

The bedrooms were not well cleaned and the carpet was a bit sticky.

Bathrooms good, power shower, toiletries provided, clean towels.

The staff on ground floor were very noisy and disturbed us early each morning shouting to each other along the hallway.

There is a coffee shop and KFC attached to the hotel and a Walmart supermarket just nearby as well as plenty of other shops.

The hotel was located within walking distance of the Drum and Bell Towers. Rooms were clean and comfortable with basic amenities provided. Restaurants and shopping was all close by. Hotel staff were helpful. Good value for money.

Near city centre and Drum tower

Great Location

This hotel could be much better if it wasn't for the poor maintenance and cleaning.
The location is excellent being a few minutes walk to the two Towers  the Muslim food street and shopping complexes.
The hotel building is fine, it's not particularly dated, and has an attractive coffee shop and bar on the ground floor.
Walking to the room one starts to smell the odor of stale cigarette smoke but that's the way it is with all the lower cost hotels I have stayed in China.
The room was of acceptable size and well appointed. The carpet looked dirty and was frayed in places. The sliding door to the bathroom was off its rollers, something the cleaners must have noticed, but decided it didn't need attention. There was no room safe and I could not get the TV to work, but maybe it was me.On two occasions my room card would not allow me access but passing staff seemed happy to let me (or anyone else in).  The refrigerator was not cold despite being on. One of the room attendants took me into two other rooms and showed me that none of the refrigerators were cold so I decided there was no point asking for one to be swapped over. WiFi was provided but not from the rooms.

Sensational location

We came to this hotel for a few nights as part of a tour, the best thing about it is that it is in a great central location close to the city walls, shopping and drum/bell towers. However there were many downfalls.... the room smelt like petrol, the hot water only worked for 4 hours in the morning and for 2 hours at midnight, the breakfasts were cancelled as their gas line was broken and the staff in general were quite rude. Definitely wouldn't try this place again

Not a fun time

We had to check out after midnight when the KTV below our room started. No air-conditioning, and no other room that was not also over the 4th floor KTV. Filthy carpet. No English. Checkout took two hours. The lobby was slick with vomit.
