This hotel is well positioned but has seen better days. The wall of the room we had had the remnants of a Christmas party grafitti still showing. The building works for the new subway nearby also went all night . The staff were extremely helpful though when we needed photocopies of the registration to extend visas. They also advised the correct bus to get to PSB.

A little bit tired, in need of sprucing up.

We booked three rooms, each room is filthy. Not 3 star at all.
There are spider webs everywhere, I found hairs (of the head and body kind) on the supposedly clean bed.
Worst of all, there are mosquitoes everywhere. There has been about 5 flying in my room in my two night stay so far, and a couple were in another room.
Either I am very unlucky, or all their rooms are disgusting like this.
I would not come back, in fact i am going to try and change places tomorrow.

Do not stay here!!!

Okay, on the positive side, the hotel is cheap, and the sheets were clean, but that's about it. The rest of the room was grimy, and the bathroom looked like it might be growing some new lifeforms in the corners. My bf was actually pretty unimpressed that I'd booked this particular hotel, and he made me promise "no more dives." Oops.

The location wasn't too bad - a ways away from the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, City Wall, and Muslim Quarter (we took a 5 minute cab ride down the street, but it would have been possible to walk. Probably would take approx. 20-30 minutes on foot.) The cab we got at the train station had trouble finding the place, and we drove around for about 20 minutes looking for it. 

The breakfast was Chinese and pretty basic: congee, rice, oily bok choy, etc. 

Overall, if you're on a budget it's do-able, but it's ain't no palace!
