This Hostel is more a Homestay than a Hostel. Lee is the most warm harted person we have met in China and is easily among the top 3 we have ever met on our travels so far. She will help you with everything. Her english is not the best, but with her smartphone she manages to understand and explain everything. The dinner she cooked will be remembered as the best food we had in China. The room was super clean. We had everything we needed. Hospitality was warm harted and beyond anything you would would expect from a typical hostel. An advice when booking: She actually has another job. But she will pick you up from the bus stop near the hostel (maybe 10min. by walk) any time of the day. She just needs the information of your arrival time to get that time off. So please write your email adress, telephone number and your approx. arrival time into the free text field on the bottom while booking at booking.com. She just gets a Fax from booking.com where the dedicated email adress, phone number and arrival time fields and arent printed/showed. Will stay there for sure if we ever come back to xi'an :)
