A good business style hotel with friendly service in a perfect location. Nothing to complain about. The hotel is right next to the Drum Tower and the busy muslim quarters - with its incredible street food scene! - and about 400 metres from the central Zhonglou metro station (line 2, red) by the Bell Tower. Despite its great location the hotel is on a quiet alley just off West St. There is practically no street noise (our room faced the coartyard-style dining hall, which must've been even quieter at night than rooms facing the street). Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast buffet was vast with quality produce and more Chinese than Western options, which I found nice (there was still plenty of international standard options for e.g. kids who might find local specialities unappealing). Complimentary healthy snacks like apples, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes were on offer by the ground floor elevators - a nice touch.
