This was the cleanest and best functioning set of rooms during our two week trip to China. The rooms are not luxury but they are maintained clean. The tile floors minimize any smoke smell (I didn't notice any) and allow for better cleaning. The desk was very helpful. Bottled water is for sale in the lobby. The location is great--several blocks to the old city wall and a few more to the bell tower. The restaurant next door has good spicy food and a menu with pictures.
