Grand Skylight Hotel Tianjin

We arrived in the evening, both of us exhausted. Our room was large, spacious and appeared clean. We immediately put the kettle on to have a hot drink, there were only two black tea bags, no coffee, or milk. My husband went to the front desk and the staff could not find any milk in the hotel, but they sent someone to a shop to obtain it for us. We had a delicious Chinese dinner on the 2nd floor and the staff were so attentive and made us feel at home. We had breakfast included in our package, but the kitchen opens at 0630 and we had to leave at 0600. We asked the young man at the front desk to book a taxi for us for the next morning. When we arrived in the foyer at O600 a limousine driver was waiting for us and treated us so respectfully, we were driven to the airport in the comfort of a limousine. We only asked for a taxi, so we were a little confused but on arrival when my husband went to pay the driver he said it was complimentary, he wouldn't even take a tip. We can only deduce that as we couldn't eat breakfast they organized that transport for us. We would like to thank the young man at the front desk for this much appreciated service.
