Orient Bay-View Hotel

We found this hotel by searching online. It was a 4-star hotel but we really think it had a 5-star rating. It is located in the heart of the city and the beach is only about a 10-15 minute walk. One of the best conveniences was the ability to catch a public transportation bus that was available at the curb side at the hotel entrance. A bus was available every 5 minutes that would take us into the downtown shopping areas. The staff and services were very professional. The rooms were always clean and the meals in the restaurant were always good. The most unusual surprise however was the price which was only about $30 USD per day when we were there in July 2002. (The date selection tool above only went back as far as 2003 so we were not able to select 2002 for the year). The staff always had some English speaking staff available. There is also a couple of gift shops in the lobby that had some very interesting souvenirs. We met many people in the lobby who had traveled there from all over the world.
