Shenzhen Circle Art Hotel

Spent four nights at this hotel because it was convenient for business. While the staff had limited English, they were friendly and keen to be of service. Each room is decorated differently and they are a curious mix of East or West. An explanation of the art in the room would enhance the guest's understanding. Only free-to-air TV available (CCTV and local Shenzhen station), so of limited use if you don't understand Mandarin. The beds are quite firm but comfortable and the bathrooms are modern with a giant shower rose and hand-held shower. Breakfasts are traditional Chinese, but the offerings change each day and the roof garden restaurant is a pleasant way to start the day. Nearest metro stops are Fanshen and Bao'an Center, a 5 or 10 minute stroll respectively. The Rainbow Centre by Fanshen metro has a grocery store for drinks and snacks. Local markets provide fresh fruit.
