Hello Shenzhen is a must when travelling in south China. The LA Waterfront Hotel is new and very close to the Beach, Resturant is good and there are about the Cleanest KFC and McDonalds attached to the complex. You are out of the city but for approx $ 7.00 RMB you can take Bus 103 to Sheenan Road where you can shop till you drop!. The sea is clean and very warm, Shark Netted and white sand. I never knew this place existed, we just booked online from our Hotel in Hong Kong and ended up staying another four nights because of the location. Staff excellent, Rooms Clean, watch the local Beer "JK" I think, can give you a bit of a knock ha ha Shenzhen is a good spot and close to boarder, don't miss shops at Rail station to Hong Kong, good shopping also. regards Rob Ferris
