We stayed two nights here as a stopover to explore Shanghai, and honestly, this hotel is exactly what you’d want for that purpose. It feels freshly built or recently renovated – modern, clean, and efficient throughout. The room was spotless, well-designed, and came with everything you need. Recognition of my IHG Ambassador Platinum Elite status was on point — including complimentary breakfast, which was surprisingly good (shoutout to Tee Tan for the professional and warm service). Staff in general were helpful and patient. No fuss, no fake smiles — just competent and friendly. Lobby has complimentary coffee and tea available 24/7, which is a thoughtful bonus. Location is convenient: it’s not right in the middle of the Bund, but it’s close enough — about a 10-minute Didi ride (€5) to get you to the iconic skyline and riverfront without paying Bund prices. All in all, strong value for money. Would definitely stay again for a short Shanghai visit.
