It is located in the centre of Xinchang - a very few ancient water village remains in Shanghai. It took around 30 mins by Taxi from Airport to Xinchang. 10 mins walk from the village entrance to reach the hotel. The hotel is designed in modern Chinese style, it was renovated from ancient village house. The staff is very friendly and polite. Free wifi provided for guest. Our room has two floors, the ground floor is a simple living area with seating and daybed in traditional Chinese style, and also equipped a small toilet. Bedroom and bathroom is located in the second floor. The air conditioner was good, shower water pressure and temperature is good. However, there is flooding problem with the shower cubical, I pull the shower head to use in the bathtub instead. The hotel does not provide breakfast, but it is not hard to find nice village food nearby. There are already a few coffee shop, tea house, restaurant opposite to the hotel. I stayed there for 2 nights and my parent happy with the hotel also. We enjoyed the simple village life very much. And I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially to whose interested in Chinese architectures and culture.
