As written before: book 7 days-inns online to get a good rate. Location: it is very close to the railway-station (5 minutes on foot), but the nearest subway station (Beidajie) is a 15 minute walk away. Once the metro reaches the railway-station it will be very good location. For now, it is just soso. Many restaurants around, some small shops as well. Taxis etc. no problem to catch. The bus to the Terracotta Warriors (found next to the railway station) is also near. Head south and you reach a nice park. Be aware that you can go up the city wall also near the railway station. Room was as rooms in 7 days inn are. Spacious, clean, good AC, good Wifi, quiet, good hot shower. Staff speaks no english. Claimed they have no laundry service (not sure, if this is true). Overall a good choice.
