Its a nice former state house, set in the Zhongshan Park, and recently opened up to the public. Large rooms, nicely landscaped Chinese gardens, good food, good service. This is not luxury hotel, but rather a Chinese classic with updated hard- and software. The uniqueness comes from the feel of grandeur, the large rooms, the stately vibe the building and the hotel organisation bring across. Also positive is the location, if you keen to explore the Zhongshan area of Nanjing. Loved the 50m indoor pool and the sports facilities as well.
