Home Inn Fuzhou Bayiqi Road Sanfang Qixiang

I really like this Home Inn that is in Antai Lou, near the corner of 817 Road and Jibi (Jipi) Lu. It looks small - just a corridor for a lobby, but everything happens perfectly like clockwork. No need for fancy architecture. The price was very reasonable. The rooms are smallish, but everything works. There is a hairdryer, a pleasant shower, a teapot so you can heat your water if you like, good air conditioners that are quiet, a fine television, good internet lines. It was clean, well attended to, and the only issue was a little noise from subway construction. That is scheduled to end soon. Really - it was exactly what we needed, and we stayed for 6 days. We speak Chinese. Not sure what it would be like if you didn't. But it seemed like they could handle it. There is no breakfast included, but there are two coffee shops just next door. Across the street is Pizza Hut, if you like that, and down the street is the Mixx Dim Sum Restaurant, which has great Chinese dim sum. We ate there several times. There are also plenty of other places which looked really good, and the hotel is a short walk from San Fang Qi Xiang - Nanhou Street - where you can go to a lovely Starbucks if you want fancy coffee. We actually liked the Momi Cafe, which is a little closer, and while you eat you can write post cards, which they will send for you. Loved staying at this hotel and look forward to coming back.
