5 reviewsThe owner is a well-traveled Chinese American who has settled in Lijiang for its beauty. Both the owner and her assistant A Liang are very hospitable. We were treated as their guests to their own home. A Liang asked for our arrival time and location ahead of time and picked us up at the bus stop. It was so nice to enjoy a ceremonial tea served by A Liang while discussing various sightseeing options. He offered to make all arrangements on our behalf, which saved us quite a hassle because everything requires a local ID or phone number nowadays. He served as our old town tour guide free of charge and gave us good restaurant recommendations and souvenir shop recommendations. The hotel is conveniently located inside the old town with the view of Yulong mountain. The room is very comfortable and clean, free laundry and dryer, no daily housekeeping though. But the host truly went extra miles to meet all of our needs. The hotel can be booked on Agoda or Booking. A family room (up to 4 adults) only costed us $28 per night in April.
