The hotel is spacious and nice. The rooms were comfortable and neat. 
The staff could have been more courteous, especially at reception.
The breakfast was quite limited for vegetarians. Only some fruit and bread.

Wooow, what a wonderful property. Love at first sight. So colourful, inviting to be hang around. Just want to be there for a long time. Very attractive lobby and amazing receptionist. Very warm and welcoming. courteous and helpful, though language barrier. Rooms are fascinated very well kept. Bathrooms were neat and clean.Every thing was just mind blowing. We do love it. 

A Memorable journey. Even though it was my maiden trip, I managed to overcome all high altitude syndromes within a few days. Thanks to the friendly hotel staff and comfortable hotel room provided by the tour agency. It is definitely over our expectations.

Good airy rooms with all five star facilities including bath tub. It is a huge hotel housing around 400 to 500 rooms. Only worry is language, even the reception staff doesn't follow English. But one good advantage they are having a translator device where you can type in English and they get it translated. The electronic keys for room is a mess here. Many got stuck with this.

As a gesture of care for tourists they have a card given to tourists saying pl take me to Lhasa hotel ,in case you get lost in city. 

The food is more Chinese than European by we do get an option of continental breakfast.


My sister and I stayed at this hotel for four days.  Location was excellent. Close to markets, restaurants and completely in the centre of town 

The hotel was clean. Bed linen excellent. The decor a little dark and needs updating. But heaps of room. 

Breakfast provided a wide selection of Chinese food mainly.  I just enjoyed eggs, toast and green vegetables.  If you are expecting a good coffee you will be disappointed. 

People are so happy and friendly. 

Very little English is spoken.

Best stay in Tibet

This seems to be a three star hotel.  The hotel is a huge one specifically designed to accommodate large groups of people. Therefore there are 2 bed 3 bed options that are available.  Well maintained large rooms and clean sheets and comfortable bedding.  Language is definitely a big problem as people do not know to speak in English. Wifi facility was available though it was not upto the mark. Huge dining area and well attended restaurant.   The complimentary breakfast spread was also very good with a lot of vegetarian options. It is also located close to shopping area and a Buddhist temple.  The large lobby and huge front entrance of the hotel gives it a grand look with ample car parking facility.  Good hot water was available at the hotel.  However the Air condition was switched off in all rooms.  It becomes a little stuffy in the night time and one may have to open the window during August month!  One has to also be very careful about the usage of towels.  If the towels are soiled they charge you 100 Yuan.  We could not just understand the logic of why they should provide towels.  Such behavior is not in line with start accommodations. Facilities wise the hotel is very good, but these pain points make it a little not customer friendly.
