We transited through China on an international trip. We had a long overnight layover in Kunming and wanted a hotel for a few hours sleep and a shower. The Changxin Hangyue hotel was a good option at a decent price that included airport shuttle and breakfast! We don't speak Mandarin. The hotel staff does not speak English. Between Google Translate and the Information Desk at the airport (where they do speak English), we had not real issues connecting with the shuttle driver or "talking" with the hotel Reception or Restaurant Staff. I would stay here again on KMG transit flights.
