We were travelling as a couple to HK and stayed at Acesite for 3 nights. The hotel is very centrally located, and provides easy commute as the MTR is approximately 5 mins walking distance from the hotel. It is in the midst of the hustle-bustle of the city, yet not annoying. Very close to the Ladies market, which works perfectly for women ;)

The rooms are clean, and are of a very good size, considering rooms in HK are very small.

We had a very comfortable stay there for 2 nights, however with a little glitch on the third night as there was a power failure and there was no cooling/AC throughout the night.Overall a good basic hotel, with no luxuries.

Also, not to forget, the staff was really nice and helpful at Acesite- extra brownie points to them for that.

Comfortable stay, decent rooms.

As a family with 4 teenagers, it was very hard to find accommodation in Hong Kong to fit us all and without spending a fortune.  Acesite was the ideal location, great price and we got two rooms with a double and single in each.  

The rooms are basic but you are in Hong Kong with so much to see and do, who wants to spend too much time in your room?  The rooms were a decent size, the only downside is the beds were a bit hard.

The room had a kettle and fridge and we bought along a cheap toaster from Oz so we could have breakfast in the room.  There is a supermarket nearby to stock up on snacks, bread, milk etc (we were here for 2 weeks) and there is a laundry matt across the road.

The location for this hotel is ideal. A 5-10 minute walk to the MTR, which will then take you anywhere.  And a 5-10 minute walk to the train station (we caught the train across the border to China).  Food and eateries are right outside the door and along Soy St.  The ladies market was just a short walk and we visited it every night.  The balmy nights, yummy food smells, colourful lights and friendly people made it a great end to each night.

Although it is away from the wharf, (which you can easily get to by MTR or bus) if you have any day trips planned, one of the usual pickup spots is the Langham Hotel which is about a 5-10 minute walk so you don't have to make your way to the wharf for an early start.

Would definetly stay here again for convenience, location and price, but if we were to come back again without the kids maybe we would pick something less basic.

Great location, fantastic price

Booked a normal room and it was surprisingly big for a HK room. Enough space to open luggage and still have space to walk around. The room and toilet are clean, same as the sheets and towel. Stayed on a high floor and had a great view out to Mongkok area. The bed is kinda firm although still manageable. The TV was also new, with good channels, just got to scroll along. Of cos, not the usual large selection of cable, but does have news, drama and movies.

A few awesome points:

1. Public bus (Cityflyer) comes here in 45mins for about HKD33. No need to pay for expensive airport express, or carry bags up staircases from the MTR. Alight along Nathan Road and walk about 5-8 mins to the hotel.

2. 15 secs to 7-11, and really near all the fantastic food. Right downstairs and across the streets are food! A great beef noodle shop is nearby, traditional bakery is nearby, roadside snacks is nearby.... list goes now.

3. 5-8 mins to MTR, your ticket to everywhere. Not to mentioned the hotel is near Ladies' market, but far enough not to be noisy.

4. Counter staff were pretty friendly. Allowed us to keep out bags when we arrived early. Although quite strict with the check in and out timing.

I think its a good price and great location. Definitely will consider this hotel again when coming to Hong Kong.

Surprisingly large hotel room, great location

We booked for 2 nights in April at a very reasonable rate since it's the high season in Hong Kong. No luxury, just for sleeping at night (Wifi not paying for breakfast...).

That's all right.

I had booked a suite and a normal room, to my surprise the suite was quite large. The suite had a living room, and my children could roam around. It's a 15-minute walk from the hotel to the Mongkok subway station, and if you're hungry, there are numerous restaurants and dining rooms in the immediate vicinity. The bed was very comfortable, the only weak spot was the few TV channels that could only be received in the suite.

Good value for money

The hotel was 15 minutes' walk from the Mongkok subway, it had a lot of cafes and snacks to satisfy the hunger... the bed was quite comfortable, the downside was that the number of TV channels was limited, and the luxury room where I registered had some stains in the bathroom sink... and some knocking in the middle of the night...

Price and quality ratio

Booked a suite & normal room, the suite to my surprise is really big, the suite had a living room & my kids can run around. The hotel is like 15mins walk to mongkok mtr, & has alot eateries & snack shop to fix hunger.. the bed was quite comfy, the minus point is the TV channels were limited & for the suite, the night i checked in, had some stains in the bathroom sink area..also have knocking sound in the middle of the night...

value for money

In October 2012, we were there for three nights. The rooms are large and spacious. My friend and I always had a place for our luggage, and we had more than enough room to walk around. The space was still enough for a chair. The bathroom was also large, with a bathtub. The bed was fine, not too hard. It wasn't too hard or too soft, I slept well anyway. Each floor has only two rooms, so you shouldn't expect a Grand Hotel. The reception is on the second floor, and you can reach it by a flight of stairs. If you take a taxi, tell the driver that it's near the three Stan Fort hotels in Hong Kong, because it's not possible that he doesn't know that Aces Hotel is located nearby at all.

A small hotel with spacious rooms, in good condition

It was three days in October 2012. The rooms were large and spacious. And my friend and I could have our own luggage room, and there was still plenty of room to walk around. There was even a place to put a chair. There was also a large toilet with a bathroom. The bed was normal and not too hard. I can't say it's very hard, but it lets you sleep comfortably. There are only two rooms on each floor, so don't expect to see a very large hotel. The reception is on the second floor, and you can get there by escalator. If you take a taxi, tell the driver that it's near the Stanford Hotel so he may not even know that the Acesite Hotel exists. I'd stay in this hotel again, but if you had three rooms on each floor, you wouldn't have any more trouble getting in there, but you can't get in there every day, and you can't get in there, but you can't get in there every day, and you can't get in there, and you can't get in there every day.

A small hotel with large rooms and a good location.

Stayed for 3 nights in October 2012.Rooms are big and spacious.My friend and I were able to each have our own luggage space and there are still plenty of room to walk around.There was even space to put an arm chair! Toilet was also big with a bathtub.Bed is alright and not too hard.Can't say that it is very firm but it allows me to sleep comfortably.There are only 2 rooms on each floor so don't expect a very grand hotel.Reception is located on the 2nd floor and acess is via the escalator.If you are taking a cab, let the driver know that it is near Stanford Hotel as they may not even know the existence of Acesite Hotel.Would stay in this hotel again as it is clean.Room is made up daily but don't think the sheets are changed but this is no issue to me since was only there for 3 nights and in Hk, you will spend most of your days outside rather than in the hotel.
